From the Pastor's Desk

Easter Welcome:  A warm welcome to all who are joining us this Easter for the first time, as well as those for whom this is a “homecoming” to our St. Martin of Tours Parish Community.  We are delighted that you are with us today and we extend a sincere invitation to be part of our parish on a regular basis.  Please know that you are always welcome!

Catholic Ministries Appeal
continues this week.  Thanks once again for your generosity.  I am pleased to report that we have now reached 50.04% ($11,380.00) of our parish goal of $22,739.94.  If you have not yet returned your pledge card, you may do so by dropping it into the collection basket or by mailing it directly to the Archdiocese.  The appeal provides funding for many important ministries.  These include the education of seminarians and lay ministers, St. Rita School for the Deaf, the retirement fund for diocesan priests, Catholic Charities, college campus ministry, and chaplaincy service for area hospitals and prisons.  Once again, it’s not too late to make a donation if you have not already done so.  Please know that every gift is important and no gift is too small.

From Ashes to Resurrection:  Our Lenten pilgrimage brings us today to the glorious feast of Easter.  Please remember in your prayers this Easter week our Elect who were baptized and the Candidates who were received into the Church at the Easter Vigil.

I join with all of our pastoral Staff in wishing you a very Blessed and joyful Easter season. Enjoy these days of spring and celebrate the new life that Jesus gives us through His resurrection.
