Noticing Deeply the “Little Easters” of Everyday Life

Although as a parish family we are unable to gather in our sacred space of St. Martin of Tours, Easter still beckons around the corner in the context of our ordinary lives.  The powerful symbols of hope and joy that lie in the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus, are made clearly visible at our local grocery stores with the presence of bright spring colors and colorful egg-shaped candy.

Easter Prayer

God of Spring and Easter you journey with us daily, breaking bread, renewing, nurturing, revealing your presence among us and in us.  Be love in us as we journey.  May we welcome the stranger and be open to the bread of newness, knowing that it is you.  May we break and share the bread of our lives and be transformed into your presence.  Thank you for the treasure of faith.  Thank you for the gift of being able to rise each day with the assurance of your presence.  God of Transformation, we praise you.  Amen.
