Saint Martin of Tours Religious Education for Youth strives to foster God’s love and goodness- supporting parents as the primary teachers of their children. Spiritual development is at the very heart of faith formation, for both children and teens, flowing from the mission of the Catholic Church commissioned by Jesus to “Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:19).”
Liturgy of the Word for Children-At the 11:30 a.m. Mass from September through May, volunteers provide a special program for our young people ages four and up. They read one of the readings from Mass to the participants, discuss it with them at a childs level, and have a craft or activity that reinforces the message.
Parish School of Religion (PSR)-Our PSR Program provides education in our Catholic faith to our parish children who do not attend Catholic schools.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)-The RCIA is a process by which adults are introduced to and brought into the life of the Catholic Church through catechesis and liturgy.
RCIA Adapted for Children-This process is modeled after the Adult RCIA and adapted to meet the needs of children ages seven and older.
